Day 1: Arrival in Taiyuan

• Arrival: Guests will be welcomed at Taiyuan International Airport, with four scheduled transfers at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, and 16:00.
• Destination: Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, known for its 2,500-year-old history.
• Accommodation: Check-in to a hotel in the city center (approx. 30 minutes by car).
• Evening: Welcome dinner.

Day 2: Taiyuan to Pingyao

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel (7-8 AM).
• Tour: Depart for Pingyao Ancient City (1.5 hours by car), a UNESCO World Heritage site. This city has preserved its Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, including ancient streets, shops, temples, and government buildings.
  • Highlights: Visit Ming and Qing Street, experience Jin merchants’ history, explore the "Ancestor of China's Banking Industry" - Rishengchang Bank, the Qing Dynasty County Government Office, and the Ancient City Wall.
• Afternoon: Visit filming locations for Black Myth Wukong (Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple).
• Evening: Roam around Tunxi Ancient Street and enjoy a local dinner (from 18:10-20:00).

Day 3: Taiyuan to Datong

• Morning: After breakfast, depart for Datong, a city known for its coal industry (approximately 4 hours by car).
• Afternoon: Visit the Yungang Grottoes (UNESCO World Heritage Site), featuring over 51,000 stone statues and one of the four major cave art treasures of China.
• Evening: Return to the hotel after dinner.

Day 4: Datong

• Morning: Visit the Hanging Temple (Xuankong Temple) at the foot of Mount Heng. This temple is over 1,500 years old and combines Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.
• Afternoon: Visit the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, the world’s oldest and tallest wooden pagoda (over 900 years old).
• Evening: Free time or further exploration.

Day 5: Departure from Datong

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer: Check out by noon, and proceed to the airport or high-speed rail station for return travel.
